Magdalena is a concept from Nick Detrich, co-founder of several of New Orleans’ finest cocktail destinations (Jewel of the South, Manolito, Cane & Table), which have been recognized by the World’s 50 Best Bars, James Beard Foundation, and the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards.
At Magdalena, our food program is focused on the breadbasket of the Ohio River Valley, with lots of vegetables, simple preparations, and technique-driven preparations. Our beverage program looks mainly at wine from an agricultural lens, where sustainable agriculture and low intervention practices are used. Our cocktail list is rooted in the classics with interesting approaches, using an agricultural influence as well as interesting updates on classic cocktails.
